Hello! Here are some tips on navigating to your session at Kits Counselling.
Finding The Office
The Kits Counselling office is located on the south-east corner of Cypress and Broadway at 1892 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6J 1Y9.
The door to enter the office building is on Broadway. Enter the door at 1892 West Broadway and go up the staircase on your right hand side. Immediately at the top of the stairs there is a door on your right hand side, enter through that door to reception.
Check-In
During regular business hours, there will be someone at the desk who can check you in and let me know that you have arrived. If no one is at the desk, you are welcome to press the bell to indicate that you are there. While you wait, take a seat and I’ll be right out.
I will come to the reception at the time of our meeting. If you have not yet arrived, I will return at 5 past the time we are meant to meet and if you have not arrived then I will call you to make sure you are okay. If I am unable to reach you past the 10 minute mark, please email me to let me know when you have arrived at erin@kits-counselling.com.
Check-In Outside of Regular Business Hours
If we are meeting outside of regular business hours, I will meet you at the front door of reception at the top of the stairs. If you have not yet arrived, I will return at 5 past the time we are meant to meet and if you have not arrived then I will call you. If I am unable to reach you past the 10 minute mark, please email me to let me know when you have arrived at erin@kits-counselling.com.
Running Late
If you are running late beyond 5-10 minutes and if it is safe to do so, please email me at erin@kits-counselling.com. As your session time is reserved especially for you, I will still see clients at any time that they arrive during the 50 minute session they have booked. However, please note that the full fee will be charged and that the structure of the session will change to accommodate our remaining time together.
Accessibility
Please note that the office building is not currently wheelchair accessible, and does require you to talk up a few steps and a set of stairs to enter into the office building. If you require any accommodations, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
Parking
If you are driving to session, there are a few options for parking. There is free street parking available on Cypress both north and south of Broadway, as well as free street parking along 10th avenue.
Our office building also has three available parking spots for clients that are located in the alleyway between 10th and Broadway, on the west side of Cypress. The parking spots are marked #1, #2, #3. Please sign in at the front desk if you do use one of these parking spots.
Please note, that as of July 2024, there is ongoing construction at Cypress and Broadway.
